Heidi was beautiful young woman, and as a senior in High School in 1991, saw an ad for the Modeling ’92 Competition in a fashion magazine she and a friend (Karin) were reading. She did not think that she had the “right stuff” to enter, but her friend persuaded her that she was just as good looking as the models in the magazines and to send in her picture. Weeks later, she was one of forty finalists, and soon after was named Model ’92 by Petra magazine.
